Services

Consultations

If you’re concerned about your child’s speech or language development, schedule a phone or Zoom consultation to talk through your concerns and explore possible next steps. A screening may be recommended to help decide if therapy services are needed.

Evaluations

If your child hasn’t been previously assessed for communication or feeding concerns, a thorough evaluation will be completed. This process includes gathering parent input, observing your child, and using standardized tools. You’ll receive a written report with findings, recommendations for therapy if needed, and practical strategies to support progress at home.

Therapy
Literacy
Support

Individualized one-on-one therapy is offered in the following areas:

  • Articulation & Phonological Disorders

  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS)

  • Language Delays

  • Receptive & Expressive Language

  • Language Comprehension

  • Phonemic & Phonological Awareness

  • Social Communication Skills

When children struggle with reading, the issue often starts beneath the surface—in how their brains process sounds (phonological awareness), understand language (syntax, vocabulary, grammar), and link spoken words to written ones. Tori’s trained to identify and treat these foundational skills that are critical for reading success.

  • Do you accept my insurance?
Talking with Tori Speech Therapy, PLLC is a private pay practice, but I’m happy to provide superbills or invoices upon request if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your insurance. We always recommend calling your insurance company directly to ask about your out-of-network reimbursement rates.
  • Where are services held?
Homes, daycares, preschools (if allowed), camps (if allowed)- wherever is most convenient for your family.
  • Are you considered a neuro-affirming practice?
Yes! We celebrate each child’s unique communication style and support their development with respect, compassion, and child-led strategies.
  • Are evaluations necessary?
Not always! If your child has had a recent, thorough evaluation that you feel accurately reflects their current needs, we can use that as our starting point. We always bring a fresh set of clinical eyes and will do informal assessments during sessions to understand where your child is at. Of course, if you'd like a standardized speech and/or language evaluation, we’d happy to provide one!
  • Do you offer payment plans?
Sessions are offered in 10- or 20-session packages to help support consistency and progress. Payment plans are available to make things easier for families, and you won’t need to worry about tracking sessions—we’ll take care of all of that for you!
  • How long does therapy usually last?
The ultimate goal is always to help your child graduate from speech therapy! That said, the timeline can vary depending on several factors—like how often skills are practiced at home, your child’s motivation, and their level of participation in sessions. We provide regular progress updates and keep you informed every step of the way.
